Sources, scope and corrections

# Understand the information before acting on it.

FemaleHealth helps adult women prepare for a consultation. Articles support that conversation; individual decisions belong in a clinical assessment.

## Who provides the information and care?

FemaleHealth is the women-focused information and enquiry brand. Articles carry their named author. [Dr Luhard](https://femalehealth.co.za/dr-luhard/) is a general medical practitioner with a special interest in aesthetics and anti-ageing medicine. Clinical consultations and appropriate treatment take place through [Medify](https://themedify.com/) at 265 Main Street, Waterkloof, Pretoria.

## How to read sources and dates

Insights include links to professional resources so you can examine the context behind the discussion. A reference supports the associated point; it does not mean that the source endorses FemaleHealth or any treatment offered by Medify. Publication dates identify when an article was published. A publication or technical update is not evidence of a separate medical review.

## Evidence and individual suitability

Read any potential benefit alongside its limitations, risks, alternatives and uncertainty. A service being discussed does not establish that it is suitable for you or that a medicine will be prescribed. Individual assessment, informed consent and referral where needed remain part of the consultation pathway. See the [medical disclaimer](https://femalehealth.co.za/medical-disclaimer/).

## Commercial context and patient feedback

This website also helps arrange consultations at Medify. It is therefore practice-associated information, not an independent comparison of providers. Fresha ratings are dated snapshots of the specific linked doctor or practice profiles. They are not evidence that a treatment works, and the two review counts should not be combined.

## Request a correction

If information appears inaccurate or out of date, email [hello@femalehealth.co.za](mailto:hello@femalehealth.co.za) with the page address and the point to check. Please avoid sending personal medical records through this channel. For an individual concern, [arrange a consultation](https://femalehealth.co.za/contact/). Urgent symptoms require an appropriate medical or emergency service.
