## The approach

### Health first. Proportion second. Pressure never.

Body concerns are often influenced by hormones, medication, pregnancy, ageing, genetics, sleep, stress and metabolic health. A consultation looks for context before recommending a cosmetic or medical route.

FemaleHealth is not a crash-diet programme and does not sell an ideal body. The goal is informed, medically appropriate care for adults.

## What we can discuss

### Medical weight management

An individual assessment of health, history, previous attempts, medication, risks and realistic monitoring.

### Stubborn fat pockets

Consultation about localised fat concerns and whether a non-surgical option, referral or no treatment is appropriate.

### Skin laxity

Assessment of sagging or loose skin, including realistic limits of non-surgical treatments.

### Cellulite and intimate concerns

Private discussion of cellulite and selected adult intimate-area concerns, including labial volume changes.

## Decision point

### No before-and-after pressure

Your consultation will focus on your health, choices and expectations. You will not be compared with another patient or an edited image.

## Private body and weight consultations for women

FemaleHealth offers adult women a discreet route to Dr Luhard at Medify in Waterkloof, Pretoria for medically assisted weight management and selected body treatments. Not every concern is suitable for a procedure, and not every procedure can achieve a surgical result.

### Start with the correct category

Diffuse weight gain, a localised fat pocket, loose skin and cellulite are different concerns. They require different assessments and should not be marketed as though one treatment solves all four.

## What women ask

### Will I be weighed at the first visit?

Weight and body-composition measurements may be clinically useful, but the reason for measuring should be explained and handled respectfully. Tell the team if weighing is distressing for you.

### Can a non-surgical treatment replace surgery?

Usually not. Non-surgical options have limits. Where surgery is the more appropriate route, an honest referral may be the best advice.

### Is the service for people under 18?

No. FemaleHealth's aesthetic, weight-management and intimate treatment services are intended for adults aged 18 and older.
