The Practice was established in 1995 then known as Van Vuuren and Gerdener Physiotherapists. Since 2012 we practiced as Van Vuuren Physiotherapist.
We are first-line practitioners which means that we do not require a doctor’s referral for treatment. We will do a detailed assessment of each patient and, should we detect any cause for concern outside of our field of practice, we will refer to the appropriate medical professional.
All our therapists are registered with the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) and the South African Society of Physiotherapy (SASP).
Female Health Physiotherapy deals with problems specific to women, due to their particular anatomy and physiology.
